finally

And once again, it has been over a month since I have posted. Whoops! Hopefully now that I'm done moving, I can focus more on crafts! I LOVE this book, I must have it. Craft party anyone?

Spring is here!

Yay Spring!!! I am so ready to shed the wool coats and scarves and bring out the sunglasses and my baby blue purse. Here is a photo that I took last year at the Tulip Festival in Mt. Vernon. I love tulips and this picture just says spring to me. One more month and then I will be spring cleaning the house and getting a much needed refreshing. Hopefully my next place will have some more room for an art area where ink whimsy can take over!

Wow, I suck at blogging. I have been extremely remiss in not posting anything for over a month. I blame it on my having a job now, woo hoo! In honor of the color class I am currently taking, here is a cool after image. Stare at the dot in the middle of the flag for 30 seconds or so and look at a white background, crazy!!

I love this fabric site. Such cute designs and some are not nearly as expensive as other places. Once I learn to sew something that is not shaped like a square, I will have to get some!

Christmas Break

The snow has been fun but I was very excited when it all melted. But now its snowing again. Dang. At least I got to take lots of ridiculously cute photos of my dog in the snow. Sadie loves romping around but it even got to be too much for her. I guess it gets pretty hard to run around when your legs are so short that when you jump in the snow, you land with your face and stomach right in it.

My job search continues. In an effort to catch more eyes, I am trying to ramp up my resume a little. Pants, since you are the only one who reads this...what do you think? Too much?

a new linocut...finally

As much time free time I've had the last month being unemployed, you would think I would have a mountain of linoblocks. Here is my latest one I made to print notecards for the boy. I think I like it more than he does (I guess boys don't really send cards to their friends). Whatever, the great thing about lino blocks is once you have made it, you can use it over and over again. Bulldogs galore!
